About CSD KODA Camp

Community Services for the Deaf (a program of Family Services) has been hosting a free KODA (Kids of Deaf Adults) Camp for more than 22 years thanks to generous grants from Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Robert and Helen Harmony Fund for Needy Children by the Dayton Foundation, and the D.E.A.F Grant by the Columbus Foundation. We thank them for their continued support and guidance.

KODA Camp is FREE to any child, aged 9 - 16, of a Deaf adult. We cannot provide transportation, but we do provide all meals, lodging, and activities at no charge. CSD KODA Camp provides a week filled with activities focused on Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs (ATOD) prevention education, leadership, self-esteem, and building a KODA community.

CSD KODA Camp registration is filled on a first come, first serve basis. Due to high demand and limited space, you will receive a fee of $50 if your child is accepted to camp but does not show up the first day of camp.

Our camp staff and counselors in training are prior campers that return due to their passion for camp mentorship of new campers!
